I've got a 2017 Escalade with the 6L80 and it's started flaring between 3rd and 4th, plus the odd harsh downshift when coming to a stop. The dealer here in Dubai quoted me nearly 15k just to pull the pan and "evaluate" which feels insane. Has anyone actually gone that route with their Cadillac? I'm a bit nervous about warranty on the work and whether they'd use genuine parts or aftermarket. Also curious how long they usually take since this is my daily driver. Any experiences, good or bad, would seriously help me decide.
