Arc Raiders has a prestige mechanic called Expeditions. You build a Caravan and then leave to buy arc raiders items.

It leads to something similar to the Prestige system: parts of your progression are reset for long-term gains. The Expedition system in Arc Raiders is a major investment, which must be coordinated with the departure window. This raises the question: Is it even worth it? The arc raiders coins Expedition is a project where players can build a caravan over several steps using the components they collect from missions. Players can activate an Expedition once they have completed all six steps of building the caravan. This allows them reset some parts of their progress and receive new rewards.

The first Expedition, which has only been released once so far, is focused on building a caravan. However it's not clear if the future Expeditions would be the same or have exactly the same requirements.

If you succeed in your expedition, the Raider that you have selected will receive both temporary and permanent reward.

Temporary Rewards last as long as the player doesn't go on an adventure during the next Arc Raiders departure window. The temporary rewards can be stacked a maximum three times. This means that you can stack temporary rewards up to three times if three expeditions are completed in a row. But if one is missed, then you will lose them all. The rewards are usually more about gameplay than they are about monetary value.

If you have five or more Skill points, the number will be determined by the value of your Stash at the time that the Expedition is triggered. This includes all your coins. Each 1,000,000 worth of your stash will earn you 1 Skill Point.

Temporary Rewards

The 5% increase in XP can be combined with other increases up to 15%.

Repairs can be increased by 10% (up to 30%).

You can trigger an Expedition by completing all the project steps for building the caravan, and starting the departure before the global Expedition Departure Window closes (marked at the top-right corner of your Expedition menu).

The Departure Window for Expeditions follows a certain calendar schedule when it is triggered.

The Expedition starts when the developers decide. Players have 60 calendar days to donate and acquire resources.

The players will have 7 days from the completion of the six stages to start the expedition.

The players will be unable to continue the Expedition if they fail to meet one of the two deadlines.

Some gameplay progress is reset in Arc Raiders when you activate an Expedition. Certain elements, however, are carried over. This is a list of everything that resets.
